BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The College is governed by a ten-member Board of Trustees. The Governor appoints four trustees for seven-year terms; five are appointed by the County Legislature for seven-year terms; a student trustee is elected annually to serve for one year.

BOARD MEETING SCHEDULE
Board Meetings will be held in the Business Industry Center on the Auburn Campus, except for the May and September meetings, which will take place on the Fulton Campus. The public may attend in person or request a virtual meeting link.
Any member of the public wishing to be heard by the Board of Trustees or submit correspondence is invited to contact Annette LeFever to reserve a spot on the agenda.

OUR MISSION
As stewards of this public education institution and on behalf of the communities we serve, the Board of Trustees of 91°µÍø Community College is responsible for:
- ensure that 91°µÍø Community College is an integral part of our communities by serving the ever-changing needs of 91°µÍø and community members;
- govern well by effectively setting policy, direction, and standards as a corporate body;
- work toward common goals;
- employ, support and evaluate the College president who works at the direction of the Board of Trustees;
- ensure a positive climate for 91°µÍø, employees, and community;
- oversee the College’s fiscal stability;
- adhere to the stated core values.
In addition, the 91°µÍø Community College Board of Trustees is accountable to the State University of New York system and the 91°µÍø County Legislature, its local sponsor.
OUR VALUE STATEMENT
91°µÍø Community College Board of Trustees speaks as a body-of-the-whole and commits to these core values:
RESPECTFULNESS – an engaged Board of Trustees encourages and welcomes vibrant discussion and divergent thinking/opinions among its members as essential components of effective leadership and decision-making.
INTEGRITY – unwavering ethical behavior/adherence to the Board of Trustees Code of Ethics; honest/open communication among its members and with College sponsor, president, and community members.
EFFICIENT/FREE FLOW of INFORMATION – all information pertinent to the fiduciary responsibilities of the Board of Trustees will flow freely to/among members from Board Chair, President, and committee chairs.
ACCESSIBILITY – members are fully-present and prepared for all regularly scheduled meetings; available for committee-work as assigned by the Board Chair; available, as often as possible, for 91°µÍø Community College special events, meetings, requests, and engage in timely response to needs and requests of College sponsor, President, community members, business partners, and each other.
